  • Xtream Codes: host URL, username, password (include port if non-default, e.g. https://example.com:8080)
  • or an M3U / M3U8 playlist URL
• Stable Wi‑Fi (judge HD quality on Wi‑Fi before blaming the app on congested LTE)
• Optional: plan to map GridStreamr Global EPG in a Smart Collection (Xtream may already return EPG data)

Step 1 — Install GridStreamr

1. Open the App Store
2. Search GridStreamr
3. Install and open the app
4. Create an account or sign in
5. Note Free limits vs Premium / trial if you already know you need unlimited collections or TimeShift

Step 2 — Add an Xtream Codes account (recommended when available)

1. Tap Add Source (or equivalent entry in Sources)
2. Choose Xtream
3. Paste Host, Username, Password exactly
4. Save and wait for Live TV / Movies / Series to populate

3. Set Settings → EPG → timezone so programmes are not offset by hours
4. Verify Now/Next on a few flagship channels

There is no source-settings field to paste a provider xmltv.php URL. Export XMLTV later from Manage Shares for other players.

Do not live inside the raw 2,000-channel dump.

1. Create a collection: iPhone Daily or Sports
2. Add only channels you actually watch
