Watch a trailer
MobileAndroid TVFrom a movie or series page on your phone or Android TV, tap Watch trailer when a preview is available. If it will not play in the app, open it somewhere else.
See the trailer before you start the movie or episode.
Rearrange your library
MobileAndroid TVIn a Smart Collection of movies or series, choose by category, by genre, by TV network for series, or one poster wall. On Android TV, the same choices are in Settings.
Find a show by genre or network instead of scrolling one long list.
Same title, one group
MobileSearch groups copies of the same movie or show that come from different playlists. A short note says why they were grouped — the same title, the same year, or the same people.
Pick the copy you want without hunting through duplicates.
See where you are rewinding
Android TVOn Android TV, rewinding live TV, a movie, a series, or catch-up shows a picture of the moment you are heading toward. The show stays paused there while you look. If your provider will not allow that picture, the player tells you.
Land on the scene you want instead of guessing.
Bug fixes
- Links that open the app — sign-in, a title, or a device — now land in the right place.
Improvements
- OK opens the player controls, and Guide opens the mini guide.
- Back from a movie or series row returns you to the library.
- A series page shows when it started and when it ended.
- You can take a movie off Continue Watching.
- Saving to a Smart Collection is one button on the details page.
- Copying titles into another collection tells you which ones were already there.
- Premium can hold up to 15 Smart Collections, and the app says so when you are full.
- A collection can offer a refresh when newer posters and descriptions are available.
